This passive park was maintained as a wholesale nursery for over 15 years. The Town of Southwest Ranches purchased the property in 2004 for preservation of open space and for development of outdoor recreational amenities.


Currently open to the public are: parking, playground, restroom, and picnic shelter available for rental.


Design of further amenities includes recreational fields, multi-use trails, restored wetlands, environmental and historical education, trailhead and other equestrian facilities, a fishing pond and pier.

Country Estates Park, also known as “Fishing Hole” Park will serve local residents as well as visitors from other places. The pastoral nature of the facility compliments the Town’s rural character.
